Core Tax
Core charges are a form of deposit paid until and old part is returned. In Settings, it is possible to allocate sales tax towards the core charges if the dealership requires it.

Customizable codes you can give to your customers to unlock a discount or promotional offer.

The homepage of your Control Panel.
Domain
A domain is a website address, owned, purchased, and registered by your dealership.
Fixed Shipping
An additional flat cost, displayed separately from standards shipping rates, intended for items that are considered overweight or over-sized. Dealers have the ability to edit this cost.
Flags
Used to designate orders which require review, such as suspicious orders.
Google Ads
An ad program in which you buy ads that are displayed in Google search results or products.
Google AdWords
An ad program in which you buy ads that are displayed in Google search results or products. Now known as Google Ads.
Google My Business
An online business listing that appears in Google search results. Displays your business's phone number, website, address, and photos.
IP Address
Internet Protocol address. Every computer is assigned a numerical value as a form of identification.
Local Pickup
An optional setting that allows your customers to pick up their orders at your business instead of having them shipped.
Notes
For internal use only. Customers cannot see these. They can be added to an order at any time. They also include transaction details from the Payment Gateway.
Notifications
These come in three colors: Red, Orange, and Green. Red indicates a warning notification, while Green means the order is clear of issues.
Payment Gateway
A service that authorizes credit card or direct payments processing for online businesses.
PayPal
Online payment systems provider.
Policy Page
Contains your privacy policy in regards to how personal customer information and cookies are stored on the site. All Policy Page changes must be submitted to SimplePart before they will be implemented on the site.

Analyses of your store's performance based on certain metrics.
SEM
Search Engine Marketing.Internet marketing that involves the promotion of websites through visibility in search engine results pages through paid advertising.
SEO
Search Engine Optimization. The process of affecting a website's online visibility in a search engine's unpaid results. Also known as as "natural", "organic", or "earned" results.
Shipping Carrier
Typically USPS, UPS, or FedEx; this is the company you use to ship your products to consumers.
ShipStation
Shipping software that lets you import orders from all your selling channels, create shipping labels, and ship with 30+ carriers. Integration available.
Snapshot
The area on your Dashboard featuring colored infographics populated from reports data.
Sub-domain
A domain that is part of a primary domain.
Tax Rates
Percentage at which your customers are taxed. You are required to set a primary tax rate, but can add additional state's tax rates in Settings.
Transaction Key
A 16-character alphanumeric value randomly generated. Along with the API Login, this is required to set up an Internet connection between your e-commerce site and payment gateway.
URL
Stands for Uniform Resource Locator, this is the address for a webpage
VIN Message
This message - included in the checkout process - ensures the customer is purchasing parts for the correct vehicle.
Wholesale Module
An optional add-on which allows individual customer pricing matrices by log-in.
